LIVONIA — Hometown Life reporters earned 13 Michigan Press Association awards for their work covering western Wayne and Oakland counties. Staff members received accolades for government, business, sports and spot reporting. The 2022 contest included 2,866 entries from 89 Michigan publications spanning Aug. 1, 2021, to July 29, 2022. Hometown Life competes in the second-largest weekly circulation category — 7,001 to 15,000. The 2022 MPA competition was judged by members of the Colorado Press Association.
